Log Cabin and Bow Tie are my two favorite quilt blocks---------how ingenious to incorporate them both in one block. Looks like they are assembled like courthouse steps------right? Both quilts are very nice.
Two projects that catch my interest. Your Courthouse Steps Log Cabin Blocks done in a bow tie type style are something different. I like how there are so many ways to create a different look with log cabin blocks. And I like the setting used for the sampler quilt you are making. Is everyone using the same setting?

Hey, looking good. Those are big projects! I used Friday night to catch up on some blogs (still working on that) and writing my own blog posts.
