The Sun is Shinning

It's a wonderful site to see.  It has been so rainy and gloomy so the sunshine is a welcome change.

Sunday was my Granddaughter-to-Be's wedding shower.  My daughter did such a great job getting this shower together.

Jess loved the quilt.  She wrapped herself up in the quilt like a cocoon and slept with it that night.

I finished this month's Antebellum Album.  I will show you all the blocks so far.

Block 4

Block 3

Block 2

Block 1

I love all the blocks so far.  Can't wait to see what's next.

I've also been working on the blocks for the Temecula Quilt Co. 1800 Sampler blocks.  Here's what I have so far.

I'm not sure how long this sew along is.  But these 4" blocks have been fun to make.

I want to thank everyone for the their kind words and prayers over the loss of my Mother-in-Law.  They were very much appreciated.

Hugs, Cathy

Land of Liberty

I finished part 3 of the Land of Liberty sew along.

This was applique heavy.  I really love how it turned out.  I wasn't sure if I wanted to do this quilt and kept putting off deciding to do it or not.  I am so glad I decided to to it.

I'm up to date on the Temecula 1800 Sampler sew along.

These are 4" finished blocks.  I can't wait to see how this quilt will come together.

A month from now is the Wedding Shower for my soon to be Granddaughter.  I have 20 sets of coasters made...20 to go.  I was working on a quilt for the couple and my grandson made some comments of what colors he liked.  The quilt didn't match his choices.  So....I started a new quilt.  I'm half way done.

It's up on my design wall and the photo looks wonky.  I have to make another 12 blocks.  The quilt is totally cut out so it will go together quickly.  Then I need to quilt it.  So glad I got the new machine.

Well I think Spring is finally on the horizon.  We still have snow in spots and it's still been on the cold side.  However, the sun is shining and the Robins have returned home.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a great day.

Hugs, Cathy
