"Flowers" Block C

I get so excited when it is time to show the next block.  Not so much to show mine but to see what Karen has done.  This block is called Glories.  Better known as Morning Glories.

I feel the blue is a little too bright, but my husband who is color blind says it's just right....lol  The fabric looks brighter in the photo.

Just a reminder...Above is block A and below is block B.

I am really enjoying working on these blocks.  They are large and go quickly.

Next up we will be sharing Block D.

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Hugs, Cathy

The "Glories" block is one I enjoyed stitching very much. I think it would make a wall hanging with some kind of border but am not planning on doing it. Your post is well done today with showing all the blocks in one post.

I did not know your husband is color blind. Is it just certain colors or all? I saw on television recently some kind of glasses (not sure if you would call them glasses) that allow a color blind person to see color.

The morning glories are beautiful and look realistic. You are moving up the alphabet

Very nice blocks. Maybe using a little of the 'bright' blue in another block will tie it together in the end. Looks great.

I love all of your flowers but especially the morning glories. They do just what morning glories should: brighten someone's morning! To make them which fabric do you put on top?
