In my last post I said I was starting a new applique project. My friend Karen at Log Cabin Quilter emailed me and said she was intrigued. You see we have found that we have very similar tastes in projects and we both have many of the same patterns.
The first 7 block patterns (plus fabric) for this quilt. I drew it up on graph paper to figure out the size of the missing blocks. I figured when I got time I would try and design blocks to go in the spots for the missing 4 blocks. Well low and behold while checking patterns on eBay again I came across the missing patterns. So I decided it was time to start this one.
Now back to Karen. When I told her I working on this quilt she said she would like to join in. We are both big fan's of Linda Brannock. So starting today we are going to share our blocks with everyone on the 15th and 30th of each month until we are done with all 11 blocks. I plan on making the half square triangles every now and again but won't add them until all the blocks are done. I hope you enjoy our journey and if you have the patterns you are welcome to join in on our fun.
Here is my Block A.
Be sure to stop by and see Karen's Block A.
Thanks for stopping by. We'll see you on the 30th for Block B

Oh yes. We have rather similar choices for our fabrics for not having discussed anything about it. Well done, Cathy.
