Oops

I had a really bad night last night.  Dog woke me up at 3:00am and I didn't get back to sleep until 7:00am.  So needless to say I was dragging but all day.  I just realized what the date is.  Time to show the next Dearest Boy block.

She's not perfect bu she's done.  And I might say it's an accomplishment to have finished it.  The instructions are lacking and I needed to figure a lot of it on my own.

Hoping to have a better day tomorrow.

Hugs, Cathy

You figured it out well. And I agree that the instructions are lacking. We have to be mind readers with some of the blocks.

What a super fun block! I love it. My pattern did not have the piece for the center included.

It seems like some patterns are like that--the more difficult the block, the more the instructions are lacking. I think you did a good job of figuring it out though--your block looks great!

Sorry for your lack of sleep. that can really take a toll on one's energy level. Nice job on the block.

Well, it turned out beautifully despite the lack of directions. I seem to be hearing this from everyone in the group. It is a lovely quilt, perhaps she could have used more "testers" before she published the pattern. Good for you for doing it your own way!

Sorry to hear you had a rough night. Love your latest Dearest Boy Block perfect little points and I love the green you have used in the centre.

Oh, some nights are like that, and they are never welcome!
It looks like such a tricky block to me, but you did it well.

Rough nights make for difficult days too. Hope you could get a nap or at least a good night's sleep the next night.
