The Sun is Shinning

It's a wonderful site to see.  It has been so rainy and gloomy so the sunshine is a welcome change.

Sunday was my Granddaughter-to-Be's wedding shower.  My daughter did such a great job getting this shower together.

Jess loved the quilt.  She wrapped herself up in the quilt like a cocoon and slept with it that night.

I finished this month's Antebellum Album.  I will show you all the blocks so far.

Block 4

Block 3

Block 2

Block 1

I love all the blocks so far.  Can't wait to see what's next.

I've also been working on the blocks for the Temecula Quilt Co. 1800 Sampler blocks.  Here's what I have so far.

I'm not sure how long this sew along is.  But these 4" blocks have been fun to make.

I want to thank everyone for the their kind words and prayers over the loss of my Mother-in-Law.  They were very much appreciated.

Hugs, Cathy

I wish I had taken time to make the Antebellum blocks. Yours have reminded me how much I still want to stitch this year. The year will soon be half over.

Those Antebellum blocks are beautiful. I also love that finished quilt. No wonder it was such a hit.

I hope your FIL is doing okay.

Isn't it nice when you can tell someone appreciates a quilt?

All your blocks are lovely--especially love the fussy cutting! I can understand your gifted quilt being loved--it's beautiful!

I can see why Jess loved the quilt - and for her to sleep with it that night, what a lovely compliment, it's wonderful when we pour our heart and soul into making something beautiful that the person loves so much. Well done, girl. I love all of your blocks, what gorgeous things you make! I'm keeping your family in prayer, sweetheart.
