Busy Busy

It's a finish...well a finished top.  My UFO for the month of February is Sentimental Stitches "Simple Summer Sampler".

The original quilt had the blocks sewn on point.  There was a total of 50 blocks.  I decided to sew my blocks together with sashing and corner stones.  As you can see above I could barely fit 5 rows on my design wall.  I ended up using 49 blocks.  The blocks are set seven across and seven down.

I don't have any where to show you the full size of the quilt.  Here it is layed out on my bed.  I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Here is my mini quilt for February.  I believe it is a pattern that Temecula Quilts offered for free.

I'm joining Wendy for both the monthly mini's and the Pam Buda book sew along.  I ended up sewing my little quilt "Emma" to a little hanger.

Here is my UFO for March.  It is the Sally Post quilt.  I have 14 blocks made and need an additional 22.  It will be interesting to see if I can get this one finished.

Here is my almost finish.  I finished quilting this yesterday.  I used random straight line quilting.  I trimmed it up this morning and plan on binding it today.  It feels good to finally have a finish.

I appreciate you stopping by and any comments you might leave.

Hugs, Cathy

What a fabulous sampler. It will fit nicely on the bed. I good intentions with Sally, but never hot further than the pattern. It's a sweet one. Love your monthly minis.

I love it all--both blue/white quilts call to me. That is my favorite 2 color combo.
Yes, your first mini was a Temecula offering. I made a variation on it a couple months ago.
Your Pam Buda mini is sweet. I thought I would get it made, but so far, no.
Oh, I recall other bloggers doing the Sally Post blocks in the past. They are very pretty blocks. That is a lot of blocks to finish in one month, but you are over 1/3 of the way with the quilt blocks. That is something!

I love your blue and white almost finish, not to mention the two minis for February. All those applique blocks are gorgeous, not sure I would have the staying power to make one of those quilts, but I sure love seeing the ones others make.
