YoYo Weather

This has been the strangest weather.  A couple of weeks ago we had temps in the 50's....then it snowed.  Again temps in the 50's...and it really snowed.  Another 4" of snow and now they say it is going to be in the 50's again next week.  Well I sure hope snow doesn't follow.

I have an update on my 365 Blocks.  I only have nine of each to show you.  The 10th is the center medallion block which I have not started.  I am only going to make it for the blue blocks as I am using yardage for it.  I have been using charm squares for the scrappy so not enough fabric for the medallion block.

I finished the next 3 blocks for the Splendid Sampler.  I'm using a FQ Bundle from Cotton and Steel.

Block 3

Block 4

Block 5

Well as stated above we have tons of snow that I will happily share with you.  Right now the temp is 9 degrees out...I will share that too.  So I am staying inside snug as a bug in a rug in my sewing room.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs, Cathy

Just continue sharing your wonderful blocks--you can keep your snow!! : )
Just curious--do you not have stash yardage to do the medallion for the scrappy version? Cause I have plenty I could send you!

Well with all the snow you seem to be getting plenty done, lol! Lovely blocks! Can't believe it was 65 on Saturday....but warmer, sunnier days are coming. A few months we'll be complaining about the heat. If I could live somewhere where it's spring and autumn all year round, I'd move today.....

I noticed a big sign at the local quilt shop for Cotton and Steel and quite a few bolts of fabric. I did not linger in that section as I had a shopping purpose. My quick run through the bolts let me know that it is a nice range of fabrics.

We are having 80 degree weather here. Beautiful. You are just getting teased a bit. Spring will soon be there.
