Every day I feel better. Still taking it easy but back to having fun in my sewing room.
I also got another 8 blocks prepped for my Friendship quilt. These are more of the Box in a Box blocks.
I pulled out an old UFO. It is a block of the month from 2014. I had 10 of the 12 blocks done and just lost interest. It is a Sugar Block BOM.
The fabrics are all from Needle Love. One of the background fabrics has bumble bees all over it. Now I need to figure out how to put these blocks together. Any ideas?
I made another 2 blocks for my Vivid Grid quilt. Now I have 6 blocks and one prepped. 24 to go.
I also got another 8 blocks prepped for my Friendship quilt. These are more of the Box in a Box blocks.
Today I am going to try to get some scraps cut. Resting up for some more marathon quilting.
We are having some beautiful weather. I hope you are enjoying the same. Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.
Hugs, Cathy
I think I woiuld try to do some kind of on point setting for your blocks. I would have to have them in hand to play and figure out.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Feeling better and stitching. Doesn't get any better than that!
ReplyDeleteGlad your hand and hands are feeling better allowing you to get sewing again.
ReplyDeleteGreat news that you have seen improvement and are back to sewing!
ReplyDeleteI love putting samplers together with chain blocks, or hourglass blocks as connectors.
Sharyn Craig's books on settings really opened my eyes to new possibilities, too. Depends on how large you want the quilt, and how much more time you would like to devote to it.
I'll bet it feels great to be back to stitching. Those are great blocks.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're having fun sewing again, Cathy!!!! Love your blocks!
