So good to be......sitting at my sewing machine.
I have finished 2 more blocks for the Ohio Sampler Quilt.
This was a little complicated to figure out but once I did this block went together so easily.
I made this block this morning. I'm about 3/4 of the way done with the Ohio Rose block. I'm still behind about by 6 blocks....will I ever catch up? Oh well no pressure here. Quilting is suppose to be fun right?
Be sure to drop by Lori's blog and Karen's blog to see the blocks they have made (these are some of the blocks I'm behind on...lol). They both do such beautiful work.
I got one more block finished for the Jeni from the Willow's quilt a long and I have 2 applique blocks prepped.
Well, the sun is shining once again although it is cool out. There was frost on the windshields. Today is the Detroit Tigers Opener. So I will be glued to my TV and getting some sewing done. Enjoy the day.
Hugs, Cathy

Great looking tree block, Cathy.
ReplyDeleteYou got a later start on the blocks so being behind is only natural. And it is supposed to be fun, so whenever they get done is fine. I am looking for a couple substitute blocks for the quilt. Studying the book with the antique quilts.
ReplyDeleteThe pine tree block was hard to keep track of directions of the half square triangles and seam directions. You did a fine job.
You are moving along at lightning speed! Love your blocks. Your seam allowance is way better than mine! lol
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look great and you're making good progress. Yes, all of this is suppose to be FUN!
ReplyDeleteYes, quilting is supposed to be fun ... and I remind myself of that when I start to stress about triangle tips or matched seams. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love your Double T block ... since all my grands names start with the letter T maybe I need to make them a Double T quilt for curling up with for watching movies.
Did your Tigers win their opener? My Cardinals opened on the road ... the home opener is Monday. Hopefully the weather will be better than what they're forecasting right now.
How gorgeous your blocks are! I didn't watch the game but was glad to see they won. Guess what, we have teeny little leaves coming out on our maple tree - nothing anywhere else, but it'll be here soon, lol! Stay dry with all this rain!
ReplyDeleteAll your blocks look great. That pine tree was rather confusing. I had to redo part of mine because I sewed it wrong. I wouldn’t worry about catching up because Everytime Karen and Lori post pictures it makes me want to go and change mine.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are great. I'm playing catch up, too. I think it's going to be fun to put our quilts together and to see how each one looks.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are all beautiful and I LOVE your Pine Tree block!
