Another one bites the dust. I finished the 3rd of 4 quilts. This quilt is made up of 9 patches I received in a swap hosted by Barb at "Fun with Barb" I received the blocks in 2015. Played around with them for a year...yes a year. Finally came up with a layout and put the blocks together in 2016.
And Waa Laa....we have another finish. Not sure if I will be able to get the 4th quilt finished before the end of the month...but if not I will put it on next month's projects. The idea being this is going to be a stress less year.
I am planning on working on my Sally Post blocks till I get them all finished. This has been an ongoing project for a few years. It needs to be finished.

These two blocks were repeats as the originals were used in another quilt. I have one more prepped and 4 more ready to be prepped. I'm getting excited about these.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Wishing you a very productive weekend.

I love that setting for a 9 patch quilt!
ReplyDeleteOh Cathy it's so gorgeous - what a fabulous setting, I love it!!! Love your SP blocks too!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lori's comment. The nine patch setting you used is oh so good. You are going to get all caught up and be ready for new projects before this year is over!
ReplyDeleteREALLY like that 9-patch. I have wanted to make that setting for a long time. I just never seem to get around to it. It looks so good!
ReplyDeleteNice job on the SP blocks.
Such a Beautiful finish on your 9 patch quilt!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 3rd finish for January - that's a huge accomplishment!
Really love your Sally Post blocks too, you are on a roll with these pretty blocks too. Whoo...Hoo..!!!
I love that setting..did that with a Dear Jane challenge for a quilt show one year. Made several of the easier DJ blocks and then the 1/4 sq tri's in between. Always loved that quilt (wallhanging).
ReplyDeleteLove the layout for the 9 patches!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, another finish! You chose a sweet setting for all of those delightful nine patches. Two of mine are included in there. Love your Sally Post appliques. Once you get rolling on an old project its nice to be enjoying it
ReplyDeleteIsn't it a great feeling to finish some of our WIP's. We usually love them alot - still- but other things catch one's eye, and we start something new. LOL! Well, thats me anyway. I have had a few finishes for 2016 and love it. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty, congratulations on another quilt!
