Well sort of....
This is my modern Gwennie Medallion quilt. This is the only thing that I worked on during the month of September. I was unable to work on my Traditional quilt due to the eye problems I had for the last 4 weeks. I am finally pain free..woo hoo. So I'm hoping to get to it this month.
This has been such a wonderful experience. I want to thank Lori for asking me to be apart of this Sew Along. I had fun picking out the theme for round 3.
I hope everyone else enjoyed the Sew Along.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs, Cathy

Hope your eye problem resolves soon. It's awful when things get in the way of our sewing! Fun fishy border. This was a fun thing to collaborate on! It's amazing to see all the creativity out there!
ReplyDeleteGlad your eyes are feeling better. Fantastic fish swimming around your quilt. Everyone's quilt is really amazing.
ReplyDeleteHoping your eyes continue to mend.
ReplyDeleteI love those fishies as they tour the sea - they really bring an ocean-y feeling to the quilt.
Thanks so much for making this whole project possible! I've had the best time with every part of it - the medallions I built, and seeing all the stupendous creativity of others that you and the gang have inspired!
Hoping your eyes are doing all better. Your quilt is awesome. Thank you for the round you chose also :)

ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you are finally pain free! I adore this go-round. Bless your heart for truly sticking to the theme and making real fish! I love this one and look forward to seeing the traditional one when your eyes improve and things slow down!
ReplyDeleteHere's wishing you continued healing so you can finish this delightful medallion up to your satisfaction. It's so annoying to have physical issues get in the way of our creativity. You've done wonderfully well under the circumstances.
ReplyDeleteYour fish look great! I hope you are back to good health soon.

Your pieced fish are so cute, and they look perfect amongst all the blue fabrics you used in the quilt. Best wishes for a full recovery.
