I go from a post every other month to almost one a day. Guess I just have so much to share.
First, some projects I have been working on.
I finished the pieced half square triangles and the the corner triangles. Lori has done such a fantastic job with the directions. I love doing her QAL.
Next up is the Sugar Shack BOM.
This is February's block. I love it.
Here are January and February blocks together. These are not colors I am used to working with. I usually use dark country colors or reproduction fabrics.
I mentioned "The Traveling Stash". Last week Audrey at Quilty Folk said she had received the Traveling Stash and asked if anyone would be interested in receiving it. I put my name in and low and behold I was chosen.

This is what I found. Too many goodies....what a hard time I had picking what I wanted.
This is what I chose. Can't wait to start a new project with them. I'll let you know I really want to keep it all.
This is what I added to the mix.
Now if you would like to be the next recipient of the Traveling Stash leave me a comment stating you would like a chance to have the Stash visit you. I will be drawing a winner on Saturday.
Now don't forget about the giveaway I'm having for the first week of February. I am going to have one each week for 4 weeks to celebrate my 3rd Blogiversary, my 25th Wedding Anniversary, Valentines Day and Hoping for an early Spring.
This is the book I am giving away for week 1. To win a chance, leave me a comment that you are a follower and how you follow me. For a second chance, blog about the giveaway and leave me a comment stating this.
Now please leave separate comments for the Giveaway and the Traveling Stash.
I want to thank you for being a follower and all the kind comments I have received over the years. Love you all.
Hugs, Cathy

ReplyDeleteI'll pass on the travelling stash, but wouldn't mind a chance at winning your first week giveaway! I have your blog on my sidebar so I keep track of what you are up to! You have a lot to celebrate this month!

ReplyDeleteHi Cathy, I am so happy to meet you. Well, you have twenty-four and a half years on me as a quilter, but you've got to start sometime. I'm what you would call a late bloomer. Now that I am retired and have more time on my hands, I'm doing (learning) some of the things that I have always just dreamed of trying. That includes quilting which I started last fall and playing guitar which I starting almost four years ago. Life is good. Congratulations on winning that traveling stash. How great to have so many new fabrics at your fingertips. I have just started a grandmother's flower garden and the entire quilt will be made from scraps. I plan on counting all the different fabrics, when I'm finished. It will be interesting, but best of all, it's a free quilt. No trips to the fabric shop :) I love your squares and I am inspired my your lovely blog.
ReplyDeleteYour newest blogging sister and follower # 199 Connie :)
