Not much sewing getting done here...how about there?
With being sick, back infection and camping, I haven't done much sewing. The virus is gone, the back is slowly clearing up but the humidity is terrible. So still not much sewing getting done.
I did however finish the first pieced round of Lori and Randy's SAL.
I started it before we went camping and finished it up yesterday. I am so far behind on everything. I really need some quality time in my sewing room...lol.
I told you we were going camping for a week. We left on a Wednesday...it rained all the way to camp. It rained while setting up (thank goodness we have a trailer now instead of the pop-up). It rained all night and all of the next day. So Terry and I stayed in the trailer and watched movies or read. I even got some hand quilting done. Friday the sun came out and we had blue skies. My son Michael and his girlfriend Stacy came and camped the weekend with us in a tent. It got pretty cold and they had to sleep in the trailer one night so they didn't freeze. We had a really good time.
This was Sammie's first time camping. She did pretty good. Didn't bark too much and loved being outside. However, she didn't like being on a leash all the time.
And guess what? I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pictures. Oh well...there is always next time.
I've got to get caught up on all the laundry from camping so I will leave you now. Hopefully I will be able to get some quilting done. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by.
Hugs, Cathy

Where did you go camping at? I live in MI too, always looking for a good place to go.
ReplyDeleteWe still camp with a pop-up. Rainy days aren't the most fun. : )
ReplyDeleteYou have done a beautiful job on the SAL. I love your "pot" fabric!
Sounds like fun, reminds me of the days with the fifth wheel. Camping can be a lot of work but also very relaxing. Hope you are feeling better.su
ReplyDeleteI hope you find some quality stitching time!
ReplyDeleteI love camping, but not in the rain....
Love your medallion!!
Finally getting a chance to check out the 2nd round of the SAL. Lovely job with the pinwheels....scraps are the best!
ReplyDeleteNana
love your center block so far.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to read that you are finally feeling better.
It seems we would always get some rain when we would go camping. Having the camper makes it not so bad to stay inside. I look forward to following you on your next camping trip and seeing pictures.
I finally got a post up for UFOs if you want to link up for June.
Lovely medallion! Camping sounds like fun. Haven't gone in ages. My stitching has been an after thought lately, too.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a nice camping trip. It's nice to sit in a trailer when it's raining, isn't it? I love the sound of it.
