Friday Night Sew In...

I got some sewing done yesterday....

I made 2 more blocks for my Log Cabin Spools.  I haven't worked on it for a while.  I want to try and make a couple of blocks each week.  It is and will be a long going project.  I like how it is turning out.

The other day while cleaning up in the sewing room I came across these blocks.  Don't remember what I was going to make with them.  I decided to sew them together and make a Table Topper.  I'm hoping to practice some free motion quilting on it.

I made the first 2 blocks for the Temecula Quilt Co. Blessings quilt.  They are so cute.  The 3rd block is out but I ran out of steam.

I really enjoy these Friday Night Sew Ins.  I seem to get so much done.

Woke up this morning with a very sore throat so not doing much today.  Although it is beautiful out.  But no energy.

BTW.. Happy Saint Patrick's Day to all.

Hugs, Cathy

  1. I don't know that I have seen the Log Cabin Spools before. I like it! And the little table topper is a great use of some blocks with an unknown purpose.
I'm working on those little baskets, too. Aren't they cute?
