Snow, snow and more snow. Makes me really wish Spring was here.
I spent the morning with a cup of coffee reading emails, Facebook, and Blogs. Not a bad way to start my morning. I found some really good information on the Quilty Pleasures Blog. They posted information on understanding stitch length. Here is the link.

As you know I've been working on the Thread Head Quilt-a-Long Quilt. I chose to do a completely different layout. Last night I found out that I didn't have enough of the brown fabric I was using for the sashing. So I pulled out a couple of different fabrics to try out. One was a medium blue small print. It was okay...but would look better with say an appliqued quilt. Then I pulled a dark blue fabric with an antique look to it. I think this is the one.
So now my list of projects to work on:
- Finish the final border on RRCB.
- Get caught up on the Thread Head Quilt-a-Long.
- Start Barbara Brackman's Civil War Blocks.
- Finish my EQ7 block and post it.
- Finish my Sunflower quilt.
This should keep me busy for a bit. What is on your to do list?
Wishing you a quilty day. Hugs Cat
Sigh. My list is really long. I would love to have EQ7. How are you liking it?
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the snow! Yuck. Love the blue sashing with your blocks. I made a list today myself, it was appalling. I got tired just reading it and decided to look at blogs instead, lol. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel I have a list of projects to get done as well. It seems to keep growing. The quilt blocks you have done are sew pretty. Hope you find just the right sashing.
